Learning Objectives
- To demonstrate good flip charting skills.
- To list the four “channels” facilitators monitor.
- To explain the two trust statements required for good facilitation.
- To explain how to use the “nominal group” technique for information consolidation.
- To demonstrate how to facilitate a brainstorming session.
- To list the seven levels of working in groups.
- To explain two techniques for dealing with disruptive behaviour.
- To list the three types of closure that can be obtained.
Course Target Audience
Managing People in Groups is intended for anyone wanting to improve their presentation skills and to learn how to facilitate people working in groups.
Course Level – Beginner
No pre-requisite required
Course Credit – 12 Credits (under consideration by ACE)
Specialized Certificates for Credit (e.g. RSW Credits) are mailed out following training.
