Learning Objectives
- To define conflict.
- To name the five traditional strategies for resolving conflict.
- To identify the four indicators of conflict.
- To describe the three goals of resolving conflict.
- To define issues, position, and needs, interest, and values (NIV’s).
- To identify the four stages of mediating conflict using the interest-based approach.
Course Target Audience
Great Supervision Level 3 is intended for existing and up and coming supervisors from the human service field.
Course Level – Beginner
No pre-requisite required
Course Credit – 12 Credits (under consideration by ACE)
Specialized Certificates for Credit (e.g. RSW Credits) are mailed out following training.
